Suwaiq Municipality Launches Drive to Combat Aedes Mosquito Threat

MUSCAT: Suwaiq Municipality has launched a comprehensive campaign to curb the risk of disease outbreaks caused by the Aedes mosquito. The initiative features a range of targeted measures, including spraying known mosquito breeding sites, removing abandoned and damaged tyres, addressing water leaks, and implementing public awareness programmes to educate the community on prevention methods.
