The much-awaited trailer of Dil Bechara starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi was released officially by its makers leaving the audience with mixed emotions of happiness and pain. Fans of Sushant across the world showered so much love on the trailer making it the most liked trailer ever with over 5 million likes in 24 hours on YouTube.
Astonishingly, the trailer also set a new record by beating Hollywood biggie Avengers: Endgame which has received 2.9M likes as of now. Dil Bechara is Sushant’s last film and has garnered 24,428,315 views so far.
Based on John Green’s 2012 novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, this film marks the debut of new face Sanjana Sanghi who plays the female lead in the movie. The film also sees the directorial debut of Mukesh Chhabra as a filmmaker.
Nearly three-minute-long trailer, this movie portrays the extraordinary love story of Kizzie – a cancer patient and Manny who is an osteosarcoma survivor.
It was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release but due to the COVID-19 crisis, the movie headed for a digital release. The audience will get to see the movie on their television screens on July 24.
As a tribute to the late actor, many fans and celebrities have shared and promoted the ‘Dil Bechara’ trailer on their social media handles. The actor died by suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020.
