Abu Dhabi: U.S. President Donald Trump was warmly received by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi. Trump, who flew in from Qatar, was welcomed with a ceremonial escort by fighter jets through UAE airspace.
Upon landing at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Trump was greeted by children waving the flags of both nations, symbolizing the strong ties between the United States and the UAE. After a brief rest at the Ritz-Carlton—an American luxury hotel—Trump proceeded to the Royal Palace for an official meeting with Sheikh Mohammed.
During the visit, the two leaders are expected to sign several bilateral agreements across various sectors, including artificial intelligence, security, and economic cooperation.
Trump is also scheduled to visit the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. In his honor, a state dinner has been arranged this evening at Qasr Al Watan Palace.
This marks the final stop of Trump’s regional tour, following visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar. He becomes the second sitting U.S. president to visit the United Arab Emirates.
