Kerala CM announces 100 development projects

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on August 30 announced 100 projects within 100 days for the overall development of the State. There is no holiday for development, he said.

Food kit would be provided for another four months. The Chief Minister said that the best work of the government is the social welfare pension. The amount of pension has been increased from Rs.600 to Rs.1,300 and there are now 58 lakh beneficiaries. The Chief Minister said that 23 lakh new people are getting welfare pension. Pension increased by Rs.100 and from now on, the pension will be distributed on a monthly basis, the chief minister said.

Mr. Vijayan said the family health centers would be opened in 100 days. He said there would be OP in the morning and evening.  In four years PSC has appointed 1,41,615 persons. A task force will be appointed to prepare special rules in the institutions that had entrusted recruitment to the Public Service Commission.
