Deepika Padukone confesses her involvement in Whatsapp drug chats

In a shocking development, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has confessed that she was involved in drug chats on Whatsapp with her manager Karishma Prakash. Deepika made this confession at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) interrogation today. The ‘Piku’ actress also admitted that she was one of the admins of a Whatsapp group called ‘Drug Chat’.

However, as per the latest media report, the actress told the NCB that she was not involved in drug abuse. According to NCB reports, Deepika revealed that several people including her were part of this Whatsapp group. The actress revealed that she was discussing cigarettes, and not drugs, in her chats.

NCB apparently questioned the actress for more than five hours, and according to sources close to the investigation agency, she may be summoned again for further questioning.
Bollywood actresses Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were also questioned for hours by the NCB. During the interrogation, they reportedly admitted that they have seen Sushant Singh Rajput taking drugs during shoot breaks. However, both actresses claimed that they have not used drugs.

It was the death of Sushant Singh Rajput that triggered an NCB investigation on the drug mafia in Bollywood. Later, actress Kangana Ranaut alleged that several top celebrities in Bollywood are hardcore drug addicts.
