15-year-old girl falls to death from 12-storey flat in Kottayam

The incident happened at around 10 pm on Saturday. The security person who rushed to the spot after hearing a loud thud saw the girl lying on the ground

Kottayam: A girl was found dead after she fell from a 12-storey flat here in Kottayam. Reya (15) living in flat number 12-B1 in Skyline Exotica in in Muttambalam was identified as the deceased. She was a 10th standard student at Pallikoodam School in Kottayam. ……

The incident happened at around 10 pm on Saturday. The security person who rushed to the spot after hearing a loud thud saw the girl lying on the ground

He informed the matter to the police immediately. She was taken to the hospital after Control Room. Police arrived at the scene. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Reya is daughter of John Tenny Kurian and Shilpa. Her father is an IT professional in the US. Reya and her family were staying in the US before. She has been staying with her mother and sister at their flat in Kottayam for four years now.
