‘Beast’: Vijay starrer gets record-breaking fan shows in Kerala
Vijay has built his territory well with his back-to-back hits, and entertaining films. Vijay has a massive fan base in Kerala equal to a leading Malayalam actor in the state. Now, Vijay starrer has got a record-breaking fan show in Kerala.
Kochi: Vijay’s ‘Beast‘ is prepared to hit the big screens on April 13 a day ahead of another Pan Indian release ‘KGF: Chapter 2’. ‘Beast’ distributors across regions have made the film occupy more screens on its opening day. Meanwhile, the film will be having early morning fan shows in Kerala, and so far almost 350 shows have been arranged. But it is expected to get extended as the demand for the tickets is higher.
Beast’ has broken the record of ‘Bigil’ (307) to become the most number of fan shows for a Vijay film in Kerala. Overall ‘Beast’ stands third for a film’s fans show count in Kerala, while the first two are Complete Actor Mohanlal‘s ‘Marakkar’ and ‘Odiyan’. ‘Beast’ is releasing on a working day, and it’s going to be a tough battle for the film’s box office. But the demand and expectations for the film make it a grander one, and we can expect some change in box office stats.
Beast’ features Vijay and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, while the recently released trailer has revealed the film’s story, and it’s about a soldier’s mission to save hijacked people in a shopping mall. Anirudh Ravichander takes care of the music, while the cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa.
