Muscat : Oman’s Ministry of Labour has officially announced the Eid Al Adha holiday period for employees in both the public and private sectors, confirming that the break will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2025 (9 Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH) and continue until Monday, June 9, 2025 (13 Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH). Official work will resume on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
The Ministry also clarified that while these days are designated as official holidays, work may continue if necessary. In such cases, employees required to work during the holiday are entitled to compensation in line with the provisions of the Labour Law.
In its announcement, the Ministry extended heartfelt congratulations and blessings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, wishing him continued health, happiness, and longevity. The Ministry also expressed hope for continued progress and prosperity for Oman and its people under His Majesty’s leadership, and extended warm wishes to all Muslims for peace, blessings, and prosperity during this sacred time.
