Several conspiracy theorists and extreme Christianity followers strongly believe that humanity is currently going through the end times. According to these doomsayers, the end of the world was imminent, and the recent events happening all across the world were actually fulfilling Biblical prophecies. They argue that the second coming of Christ will soon followed by apocalypse, and it could mark the end of the world, as we know it.
Even though the Bible does not specify when Jesus will return, Professor Tom Meyer, a Bible scholar strongly believes that the clock is ticking for humanity.
Meyer made these remarks while talking exclusively to Express.co.uk. During the talk, Meyer claimed that the supposed rapture could take place at any moment, which could act as a predecessor before the apocalypse.
“The event that will make the proverbial end days’ clock hit midnight and begin the seven-year tribulation as recorded in Revelation 6-19 is the Rapture. The event is not to be confused with the Second Coming. The Rapture of the Church is imminent – it could happen at any instant – so fast that it happens as quickly as the blink of an eye,” Meyer told Express.co.uk.
Meyer went on and added that Christ will appear during the Rapture where he will resurrect dead Christians and will take them to heaven. According to meyer, the world will witness a seven-year tribulation period characterised by natural disasters such as asteroid impact, volcanic eruption etc.
It will be during the first half of the tribulation period that Antichrist will rise to wreak havoc in all nooks of the planet. Earlier, popular Christian evangelist Pastor Begley had claimed that Antichrist will most probably disguise as a world leader, and he will work hard to stop the second coming of the Christ.
Even though both Meyer and Begley are making these claims without any solid proofs or verses, both of them enjoy a huge fan following in all nooks of the world, and conspiracy theorists strongly believe that the world is going to witness something dreaded in the coming days.
