Kuwait City: Citizens of Kuwait and expatriates residing in the country can now travel to Georgia without a visa, announced Noshrevan Lomtatidze, the Ambassador of Georgia to Kuwait.
He made this announcement during a celebration held at the Georgian Embassy in Kuwait on the occasion of the Georgian National Day. The ambassador noted that the number of Kuwaitis visiting Georgia is increasing, and this growth has led to enhanced investment opportunities in various sectors such as real estate, agriculture, and hospitality, which are attracting Kuwaiti investors.
Ambassador Sadiq Marafi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, also attended the event. Diplomatic relations between Georgia and Kuwait were established 33 years ago, and the ambassador expressed hope that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to grow stronger.
This announcement comes shortly after China also granted visa-free access to Kuwaiti citizens, adding Georgia to the list of countries now offering easier travel for Kuwait residents.
