V K Prakash lashes out at Alphonse Puthren

V K Prakash slammed Alphone Puthren for the latter’s comments against VK Prakash- Anoop Menon team’s “Trivandrum Lodge”.

The director expressed his displeasure against Alphonse through his Facebook.

He wrote, “Just saw one interview of this great man… I don’t know wn it has com out .. on surfing I saw this…felt I shd react… normally I don’t get involved in this stupid conversations…but I genuinely felt I shd…it’s fr other directors good who r not poppular on social media …this i comented on his coments on his interview…”

V K Prakash also said that he is ashamed of Alphonse Puthren for his comments about the movie and he is disrespecting the profession by making such comments.

It was in a channel interview seven years back, director Alphons Puthran said that the negative factors are not just prevailed in film industry, but in the media world as well. He added that only three or more films had the sexually explicit contents.

He said that Trivandrum Lodge got U certificate when it has explicit dialogues.

V K Prakash further wrote, “Pls to confirm that trivandrum lodge is not a U certificate film and it’s UA … and that point of time censer officer has clarified that WY that film is given UA certificate… and I disagree with his coments on other directors film… cz I cn point out… then as a director hw cn one cinema known on directors name and other film known on writers name… complete distespect towords his on proffeseion…it’s shd nt be in popularity it’s shd be with the work my dear friend… shame on u.. alphonse putran pls understand I don’t know wn this interview has com out but wnever its bad .”
Alphonse Puthren is yet to respond to the comment.

In the work front, Alphonse Puthren is uniting with Fahadh Faasil’s for his next venture, titled “Paattu”.

VK Prakash is currently working on the post-production of a Malayalam film, “Oruththi”, and a Kannada film, “Vishnupriya”. The former, which has Navya Nair making a comeback after a brief hiatus, is being planned as a theatrical release.

The “Trivandrum Lodge” director is also working on a new film with Anoop Menon titled “Oru Nalpathukarante Irupathonnukaari”, which will star Anoop Menon and Priya Prakash Varrier
