Tunisian-Omani Business Forum opens new opportunities for trade and investment

TUNIS: Organized by the Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the forum featured working sessions highlighting investment prospects in Tunisia and Oman. Detailed presentations by investment bodies from both sides showcased ongoing projects and streamlined procedures to attract foreign investors.

Bilateral meetings facilitated dialogue between businessmen, fostering joint ventures and knowledge exchange. In his keynote address, His Excellency Samir Obeid, Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, emphasized Tunisia’s investment potential in renewable energy, information technology, food industries, and tourism. He invited Omani investors to leverage Tunisia’s favorable business environment and foreign investment incentives.

Echoing this sentiment, His Excellency Hilal bin Abdullah Al-Sanani, Oman’s Ambassador to Tunisia, highlighted the historical ties between the nations and reaffirmed Oman’s commitment to enhancing collaboration in diverse fields. He also stressed the Sultanate’s efforts to encourage Tunisian companies to invest locally, ensuring robust support for bilateral partnerships.
