Terrifying moment: Plane crash caught on camera at South Korea airport

A Jeju Air Boeing 737-8AS crashed on landing at Muan International Airport in South Korea, killing 85 people and injuring two survivors, the fire agency confirmed.

Dramatic footage showed the plane emitting smoke before being engulfed in flames.
The incident marks Jeju Air’s first fatal accident since its establishment in 2005. Emergency services deployed 32 fire engines and numerous firefighters to the scene. Located 288 km southwest of Seoul, Muan Airport witnessed the tragic crash amid South Korea’s strong aviation safety record, despite occasional incidents like the 2022 Asiana Airlines emergency exit mishap.
