The probe in the blackmailing case of actor Shamna Kasim is taking new turns as there is involvement of film actors. As per the latest reports, the police have summoned actor Dharmajan to the commissioner’s office in Kochi. His statement in the case will be recorded. The police have directed him to appear directly to the commissioner’s office.
Police summoned the actor after they came to know that the actor is close to one of the accused in the extortion case, P Haris. The police have obtained information that the accused had contacted film actors for gold smuggling. Based on this information, Dharmajan has been asked to appear.
The probe is moving on to film actors as the police acquired information that the accused in the case had contacted them. The police had collected details from four actors in addition to Dharmajan. These actors have accompanied Shamna for stage shows abroad.
P Haris, a hair stylist in M’Town, who allegedly have involvement in the crime, has been taken into custody. He has close contacts with make-up artists and film stars. He is native of Thrissur. The police expect to get crucial details from him.
