Moscow: Russia has created its own mRNA vaccine to treat cancer, which will be provided free of charge to patients. The announcement was made by Andrey Kaprin, General Director of the Radiology Medical Research Center under the Ministry of Health.
Developed in collaboration with multiple research centers, the vaccine is expected to be available for widespread use by early 2025.
Pre-clinical trials have shown promising results, with the vaccine successfully suppressing tumor growth and reducing the risk of metastases, according to Alexander Gintsburg, Director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.
