Oman Urges Citizens to Leave High-Risk Areas and Delay Travel Plans

MUSCAT: Amid escalating regional tensions, Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an advisory urging all Omani citizens currently residing in or visiting areas affected by instability to exercise extreme caution and prioritize their safety. The ministry has strongly recommended that citizens leave such regions as soon as conditions permit.

In a statement, the ministry also requested citizens to register their contact information with the nearest Omani embassy or via the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs mobile application, to ensure continuous communication and support.

Furthermore, Omani nationals planning to travel to areas experiencing unrest are advised to postpone their trips until further notice, in the interest of their personal security.
