Muscat: Organised by the office of His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, this event continues the legacy of the first and second cycles of the Bilarab bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design and the design competition for Oman’s Pavilion at Expo Japan 2025.
The Architecture Revival Initiative aims to highlight architecture as an integral part of Omani national identity and spark community engagement on its cultural, social, and economic importance. By showcasing both traditional Omani building methods and advanced construction technologies, the initiative seeks to inspire innovative designs that preserve the Sultanate’s architectural heritage. It also promises a supportive platform for discussions, fostering creativity and leadership in the architectural field and boosting career opportunities for Omani professionals.
Over the course of three days, attendees will explore three main themes crucial to reviving the Sultanate’s architectural landscape: continuing education, innovation, and market readiness. These sessions are tailored to attract various segments of society—professionals, academics, experts, and students—encouraging them to exchange ideas, network, and collaborate on shaping Oman’s architectural future.
