The unveiling took place during the official visit of His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, at Al Alam Palace in Muscat.

- On the other side is the historic Bastak Grand Mosque of southern Iran, set amidst Cypress trees, long associated with Persian ideals of strength and continuity.
At the center of the design lies a handwoven Persian carpet, inspired by the renowned masterpiece displayed inside the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Originating from Iran’s Khorasan province, this carpet—adorned with intricate floral patterns—stands as a symbol of artistic excellence and cultural exchange.
