Muscat : This digital platform replaces the previously used paper-based arrival form (TM.6) and is part of Thailand’s efforts to streamline entry procedures and enhance travel efficiency.
The new system allows travellers, including Omani citizens, to register online before arrival through the official website https://tdac.immigration.go.th or by scanning a QR code provided in official announcements. Registration involves submitting passport details, personal and travel information, accommodation details in Thailand, and a health declaration.
Key features of the TDAC system include free registration, the ability to register up to three days before arrival, individual or group registration options, and the ability to modify information prior to arrival.
The Embassy of Oman in Bangkok has urged all Omani nationals traveling to Thailand to adhere to the new digital procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient entry process into the Kingdom.
In parallel with this development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman has announced the launch of Phase Six of the electronic attestation service in Thailand, effective April 15, 2025. This service allows individuals to complete document attestation digitally without the need to visit the Omani mission in Thailand.
This step comes as part of Oman’s broader digital transformation agenda in line with Oman Vision 2040, and reflects the Ministry’s commitment to providing seamless, efficient consular services to citizens abroad.
The electronic attestation service, launched on January 23, 2025, now covers the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Germany, Austria, Cyprus, Japan, and Italy. The Ministry, in cooperation with Oman Post, plans to expand the service to other countries in subsequent phases.
Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that it will continue expanding the service to more countries in cooperation with Oman Post. Citizens seeking to benefit from the service can apply through the official platform: www.omanpost.om/ar/attestation-services.
