Tempers are flared up and the rift between Bollywood’s ‘insiders’ and ‘outsiders’ is growing large after the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. A lot many actors and a few directors have got into arguments on the controversial issue of nepotism. Latest being the acclaimed director Anubhav Sinha.
In a series of tweets, director Anubhav Sinha declared that he has had ‘enough’ and therefore he is resigning from Bollywood. The director also changed his Twitter bio to ‘Anubhav Sinha (Not Bollywood)’. The filmmaker has not minced words to declare that he is calling it quits.
“ENOUGH!!! I hereby resign from Bollywood. Whatever the **** that means,” he wrote.

Backing his decision, renowned directors Sudhir Mishra and Hansal Mehta also voiced the same opinion.
Sudhir Mishra tweeted “What’s Bollywood?I came 2be partof Cinema inspired by Satyajit Ray ,Raj Kapoor,Guru Dutt,Ritwick Ghatak,Bimal Roy,Mrinal Sen , Hrishikesh Mukherjee,KAsif,Vijay Anand ,Javed Akhtar,Tapan Sinha, Gulzar ,Shekhar Kapur,Ketan Mehta , Bharatan n Aravindan etc.Thatswhere I’ll always be.”
Retweeting Sudhir, Anubhav wrote in Hindi: People, lets go out of Bollywood. We will continue to work in Hindi film industry and make films.

While Director Hansal Mehta also joined the campaign later and tweeted that he too calls it quit.
“Chhod diya. It never existed in the first place” he wrote.
Sinha garnered a lot of fame and adulation for directing ‘Mulk’ , ‘Article 15’ and ‘Thappad’.
