Kuwait: The Administrative Court adjourned the case calling for the government to ban Netflix in Kuwait to June 8. The claimant argued that the subscription service offers content against the Kuwaiti society and its customs and traditions.
The government’s defense called for rejecting the case. Attorney Abdulaziz Al-Subaie had filed the case demanding banning Netflix in Kuwait over broadcasting the Arabic version of the ‘Perfect Strangers’ movie, which stirred a wave of criticism in the country over its controversial content.
