India has reported 11,610 new Covid-19 cases, 11,833 discharges, and 100 deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the coronavirus infection tally climbed to 1,09,37,320.
The total number of patients discharged is reported to be 1,06,44,858. The total number of deaths reported so far is 1,55,913
The total number of active coronavirus cases in the country currently is 1,36,549.
In addition, so far, 89,99,230 people have been administered coronavirus vaccine under India’s mega Covid-19 vaccination drive, the health ministry said.
Despite its huge population, India has succeeded in keeping its “coronavirus-related losses to a minimum” compared to the USA and other European countries, Union minister Prakash Javadekar said recently.
