Home Minister Amit Shah’s flight makes emergency landing in Guwahati

Home Minister Amit Shah’s flight made an emergency landing in Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport on Wednesday night.

The Home Minister, who was on his way to Agartala, could not land due to adverse weather conditions.

Amit Shah will be spending the night at Hotel Radisson Blu in Guwahati, and will be leaving for Agartala on Thursday morning to inaugurate Rath Yatra for assembly elections in Tripura.

Shah landed safely at Guwahati airport a while back. He was received by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.Home Minister Amit Shah will kick start Bharatiya Janata Party’s poll campaign in Tripura tomorrow.

Shah was to reach Agartala tonight itself. But his flight had to land in Guwahati around 10:45 due to inclement weather in Agartala.
