Foreign Minister Receives Credentials of Ambassadors from UAE and Senegal

Muscat : Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, received copies of credentials from two newly appointed ambassadors on Thursday.

During a formal ceremony, Sayyid Badr received a copy of the credentials of Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Al Maktoum, Ambassador-designate of the United Arab Emirates to Oman. The Foreign Minister extended his best wishes to the ambassador, expressing hope for continued progress and strengthening of the bilateral ties between Oman and the UAE.

The meeting was attended by Najeeb Yahya Al Balushi, Head of the Protocols Department at the Foreign Ministry, along with other senior officials.

In a separate meeting, Sayyid Badr also received the credentials of Ibrahima Seck, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Senegal to Oman. The Foreign Minister conveyed his well wishes to the ambassador for a successful tenure and expressed optimism about deepening cooperation and enhancing relations between the two countries.

Present at this meeting were Saleh Mohammed Al Saqri, Head of the Africa Department, Najeeb Yahya Al Balushi, and other officials from the Foreign Ministry.
