Kuwait City: Separate fire incidents were reported in Kuwait’s Al Qurain market and an apartment building in Farwaniya, resulting in injuries to multiple people.
Five individuals were injured in the Al Qurain fire, while four were hurt in the Farwaniya incident.
The Al Qurain fire broke out on the first floor of a restaurant and spread to several nearby shops in the Al Qurain Markets area. Firefighting teams from Al Bairaq and Al Qurain Centers quickly responded and brought the blaze under control.
The apartment fire in Farwaniya occurred earlier this morning. Firefighters from the Farwaniya and Subhan Centers managed to extinguish the flames promptly.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause of both fires.
