Etihad Airways launches 4 regular flights per week to Jaipur, India

ABU DHABI: Etihad Airways on August 19 launched flights to Jaipur, India. The airline offers passengers four scheduled flights a week, enhancing connectivity between one of India’s most culturally rich cities and the rest of the world via Abu Dhabi.
To mark the launch of the service, a welcoming ceremony was held at Jaipur International Airport, according to WAM.
Antonaldo Neves, Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delighted to launch four weekly flights to Jaipur, an important cultural and commercial hub. The aim of establishing this important air link with Rajasthan is to meet the growing demand from travellers from and around the region, providing them with easy access to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and seamless travel across Etihad’s extensive global network.”
The new destination underscores Etihad Airways’ commitment to the Indian market, with the airline having increased its capacity by a third in the past 12 months. Flights will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft, according to the WAM report.
