Cloud Formations and Thunderstorm Activity Expected Across Several Governorates

Muscat: Cloud formation and movement are forecast to continue over various parts of the Sultanate, including Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, North and South Al Batinah, North and South Al Sharqiyah, and Al Wusta governorates, according to the latest meteorological report. These conditions are likely to result in scattered rainfall across affected areas.

In Dhofar Governorate, particularly along the coastal strip and nearby mountainous regions, skies will remain partly to fully cloudy, with the presence of low clouds, fog, and occasional light drizzle.

Meanwhile, thunderstorm activity continues to develop over the Sea of Oman, with storm cells moving south-southeast, potentially impacting Muscat and South Al Batinah.
Further thunderstorm cells originating over the Arabian Sea are currently affecting parts of Al Wusta Governorate and Masirah Island, with meteorological models indicating continued activity in the coming hours.

Authorities advise residents and motorists in affected areas to remain cautious due to potential low visibility, slippery roads, and localized flooding.
