The number of COVID-19 cases in Kerala continued its upward spiral with 67 people testing positive on May 26. Of this 60 were detected in expatriates and Non-Resident Keralites from other parts of the country who had returned. Seven cases were indigenous infections with unknown sources.
Of the 60 imported cases, 27 were people who had arrived from abroad and the rest were people who had come from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka, Delhi and Pondycherry.
The number of people who were currently undergoing treatment in the State stood at 415. The total number of deaths in the State from COVID-19 stood at six.
