Muscat : In a major move that strengthens its global presence, Oman Air has officially joined the oneworld® alliance, becoming the 15th full member of the global airline network. The milestone follows over two years of integration efforts and marks a significant leap forward for Oman’s connectivity and international aviation profile.
As part of the oneworld alliance, Oman Air now offers its guests access to a global network of over 900 destinations in 170 countries and territories, providing smoother and more integrated travel experiences.
Enhanced Benefits for Oman Air Guests and oneworld Members
Oman Air’s top-tier loyalty members will now enjoy a wide array of oneworld benefits, including:
- Access to nearly 700 business-class lounges worldwide
- Use of newly opened oneworld-branded lounges at Amsterdam Schiphol and Seoul Incheon airports
- Priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling
- Earning and redeeming miles across all oneworld partner airlines
- Status recognition through Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby tiers
Likewise, oneworld frequent flyers traveling with Oman Air will receive reciprocal benefits, enhancing their overall travel experience across the network.

Oman Air’s entry into oneworld brings the world closer to the Sultanate, significantly improving access for international travelers from markets such as the United States, Japan, and Australia. Network Expansion and Future Plans
Oman Air’s oneworld membership comes amid continued network growth, including:
- A new non-stop Muscat–Amsterdam route launching 1 July 2025
- Expanded double daily Muscat–London service starting in October 2025
The airline now operates flights to 42 destinations across 22 countries, with expanded reach to hundreds more through its oneworld partners.
