NSA showcases key services and geospatial advancements in Oman

Muscat: The review meeting, attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, Brigadier General Nasser Al Harthy, Chairman of the Authority, and a host of other prominent officials, focused on strengthening collaboration between government bodies to advance development projects.

The National Survey Authority is tasked with the crucial role of collecting, analyzing, and producing precise geospatial data that supports a wide range of sectors, from economic growth to social welfare. The meeting emphasized the importance of integrating geographic insights into the planning and execution of national projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees toured an exhibition showcasing the Authority’s latest geographic products, including detailed map models, aerial photographs, and cutting-edge technologies used to collect and process geographic data.
