Indian Embassy in Muscat to hold Consular, Passport, Visa, and Welfare Open House on April 18

Muscat: The event will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join either on-site at the Embassy or virtually via a digital video conference link.

The Open House aims to address issues faced by applicants in the CPVW domains and to gather constructive suggestions for service improvement. It is open to all Indian community members in Oman as well as current and past CPVW applicants.

The session will cover common challenges experienced by CPVW applicants; feedback and proposals for enhancing consular services; and direct engagement between Embassy officials and the Indian diaspora.

To encourage inclusive participation, the Embassy has stated that the Open House will be conducted in English, Hindi, and regional Indian languages such as Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil, ensuring accessibility for a wide audience.

Participants who wish to raise sensitive matters or private concerns are encouraged to email their inputs in advance to amb.muscat@mea.gov.in.
All are welcome to participate.
