Dubai launches new platform for reporting suspicious activities

Dubai: Residents can now report suspicious or illegal activities related to Dubai Municipality’s services securely and confidentially through a newly launched online platform called ‘Amanah.’

Dubai Municipality has announced the initiative as part of its commitment to enhancing transparency, governance, and public safety while ensuring confidentiality for those submitting reports.
The platform provides a smart and secure channel for residents to flag any unfamiliar or unlawful behaviour that may impact civic affairs.

The user-friendly Amanah system allows individuals to share their concerns through the dedicated section on the municipality’s website [amanah.dm.gov.ae] , ensuring that all reports are handled with “neutrality and reliability.”
By implementing Amanah, Dubai Municipality aims to streamline reporting mechanisms, promote community engagement, and reinforce its excellence in service delivery.

For those who witness or suspect any violations related to Dubai Municipality’s services, the new platform offers an easy and private way to contribute to a safer and more compliant environment.

Different from Al Ameen
The launch of “Amanah” aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of enhancing public engagement and transparency, similar to the “Al Ameen” service by Dubai Police, which allows residents to report security-related concerns confidentially. While Al Ameen focuses on law enforcement and safety matters, Amanah is specifically designed for civic violations under Dubai Municipality’s jurisdiction, which could include environmental infractions, illegal waste disposal, and regulatory breaches. Both initiatives reinforce Dubai’s commitment to governance, accountability, and leveraging smart technology to improve public services.
