ADNOC Awards AED 65.7 Billion in H1 2025 Contracts to Drive UAE Economic Growth

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has awarded contracts worth AED 65.7 billion in the first half of 2025 to nearly 400 local suppliers, contractors, and service providers, as part of its ongoing efforts to stimulate socio-economic development, empower national businesses, and generate long-term value for the UAE.

These contracts span key sectors including drilling, logistics, operational support services, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). The awards underscore ADNOC’s strategic use of its procurement power to strengthen domestic supply chains and support private sector growth through its successful In-Country Value (ICV) programme.

“The awarding of contracts valued at AED 65.7 billion to local suppliers highlights ADNOC’s strong commitment to driving economic and industrial progress in the UAE,” said Dr. Saleh Al Hashmi, Director of Commercial & ICV Directorate at ADNOC. “These partnerships help boost productivity, enhance competitiveness, and create highly-skilled private sector jobs for Emiratis.”

Supporting National Suppliers

Key recipients of the contracts include:

  • NMDC Energy
  • Target Engineering
  • Al Dhafra Co-operative Society
  • Arab Development Establishment
  • Excel Astra Engineering
  • Robt. Stone
  • GISCO
  • Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contracting

These awards reflect ADNOC’s focus on engaging reliable national partners capable of delivering long-term value across its operations.

Future Investments and Digital Access

Looking ahead, ADNOC plans to inject an additional AED 200 billion (~USD 54.5 billion) into the UAE economy through its ICV programme over the next five years. The company also aims to locally manufacture AED 90 billion (~USD 24.5 billion) worth of products in its procurement pipeline by 2030.

To enhance transparency and accessibility, ADNOC recently launched the “Make it with ADNOC” mobile app, which provides suppliers, SMEs, and entrepreneurs with detailed insights into its procurement needs and long-term opportunities.

Since its launch in 2018, ADNOC’s ICV programme has created over 17,000 private sector jobs for Emiratis and continues to drive national economic growth by encouraging local participation in its supply chain.

ADNOC invites businesses to explore its commercial opportunities by visiting its stand at the Make it in the Emirates Forum, taking place from May 19 to 22 at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi.
