12 Firms Shortlisted for Oman Business Platform Project Under PPP Model

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion has announced that 12 companies have been pre-qualified to compete for the Oman Business Platform project, which will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework.

The initiative aims to establish and operate a unified government e-services platform – the Oman Business Platform – to streamline business services and digital interactions across government entities.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the project received significant market interest. A total of 70 companies submitted Expressions of Interest (EOIs), out of which 30 advanced to the Qualification Request stage. Following a comprehensive evaluation, 12 companies and consortiums have been shortlisted for the next phase.

  • Nelta (Consortium)
  • Nortal (Consortium)
  • PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers)
  • Quilix
  • Solutions by STC (Saudi Telecom Company)
  • SSL (Software Systems)
  • TCS (Tata Consultancy Services)
  • World Cloudturksat (Consortium)

The project will now move to the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage, where shortlisted entities will submit detailed proposals. The final phase will culminate in the awarding of the contract.

The Oman Business Platform project is expected to play a key role in enhancing the Sultanate’s digital economy and improving the ease of doing business by centralising access to critical government services.
