Kerala reports 1,875 COVID-19 cases on March 21

COVID-19 has been confirmed for 1,875 people in Kerala on March 21. Outbreaks were reported in Kozhikode 241, Kannur 182, Thrissur 173, Kollam 158, Thiruvananthapuram 155, Ernakulam 154, Kottayam 144, Malappuram 139, Pathanamthitta 115, Idukki 112, Alappuzha 108, Kasaragod 79, Palakkad 77 and Wayanad 38.
No one from the UK, South Africa or Brazil has confirmed COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. COVID-19 has so far been confirmed by 107 people from the UK (102), South Africa (4) and Brazil (1). Of these, 101 tested negative. A total of 11 people were diagnosed with the genetically modified virus.
In the last 24 hours, 44,675 samples were tested. The test positivity rate is 4.2. Routine sample, Sentinel sample, CBNAT, TRUNAT, POCT. PCR, RT A total of 1,26,61,721 samples have so far been sent for testing, including LAMP and antigen testing.
It has been confirmed today that 13 deaths in the last few days were due to COVID-19. This brings the total death toll to 4,495.

Kozhikode 229, Kannur 149, Thrissur 167, Kollam 154, Thiruvananthapuram 115, Ernakulam 147, Kottayam 135, Malappuram 132, Pathanamthitta 101, Idukki 107, Alappuzha 106, Kasaragod 65, Palakkad 28 and Wayanad 36 were affected by the disease.
Five health workers were affected by the disease. Health workers from Kannur 2, Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kasaragod 1 each contracted the disease.
The test results of 2251 people who were diagnosed and treated were negative. Thiruvananthapuram 177, Kollam 292, Pathanamthitta 177, Alappuzha 161, Kottayam 120, Idukki 51, Ernakulam 130, Thrissur 199, Palakkad 112, Malappuram 136, Kozhikode 350, Wayanad 53, Kannur 215 and Kasaragod 78 were found to be negative today. With this, 24,620 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 10,74,805 people have so far been freed from COVID-19.
There are currently 1,28,237 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 1,24,509 are under home / institutional quarantine and 3,728 in hospitals. A total of 410 people were admitted to hospitalZ today.
Today there are two new hotspots and no area is excluded from the hotspot list. There are currently a total of 353 hotspots.
