Suriya, Jyothika reunite after 14 years, check to know details

Suriya and Jyothika, the most envied couple in Kollywood, is apparently reuniting after 14 years. The exciting news has been confirmed by Suriya in a recent interview. During the interview, Suriya revealed that he is going to work with his wife Jyothika in a movie that will be directed by Halitha Thameem.

 

It should be noted that Halitha Thameem is an acclaimed filmmaker who has previously directed Sillukarapatti. This untitled film will be produced by Mollywood filmmaker Anjali Menon who has directed movies like Manjadikkuru and Bangalore Days.

 

Suriya and Jyothika initially worked together in the movie Poovellam Kettuppaar which was released in 1999. It was during the shooting of this movie that the two fell in love.

 

Later, Suriya and Jyothika worked together in movies like Kaaka Kaaka, Perazhagan, June R, and Mayavi. It was in 2006 that Suriya and Jyothika romanced each other in the movie Sillindru oru Kaadhal.

 

Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his new movie Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongara. The film will have its premiere on November 12, 2020, on Amazon Prime.
