The government has issued an order to conduct school admissions through online system.
Parents can apply for online admission and release certificate from classes one to 10 at government, aided and approved unaided schools at (sampoorna.kite.kerala.gov.in).
Those who applied directly do not have to apply online. The order is for the continuation of the class promotion for students who are currently studying in grades one through nine, as they are currently underway, and for those who are applying for TC for school change with or without class promotion.
The Principal of the school receiving the application for the TC must transfer it through ‘Sampoorna’ and the digital copy of the TC sent to the new school. Students who are coming to public schools from other streams like CBSE / ICSE and those seeking fresh school admission can apply through ‘Sampoorna’.
The child will be granted temporary admission upon request from the principal’s ‘Sampoorna’ login. Kite CEO K. Anwar Sadat said that parents have the opportunity to check the status of the application on the ‘Sampoorna’ portal using the reference number that they received when submitting the application.
Original documents relating to admission should be provided on the day of admission to the school.
The children who has an Aadhaar number (UID) should provide that number, those who had applied for UID and received an enrolment number should give that number (EID) should compulsorily enter it, the order stated.
The software has the ability to enter a ‘no’ if Aadhaar does not apply. Documents and video on online access are available at sampoorna.kite.kerala.gov.in
