Oman’s CAA Issues Sea Wave Alert Along Arabian Sea Coastline

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Oman has issued a marine warning for the Arabian Sea coastline, cautioning residents and seafarers about rising sea wave activity starting from Friday evening, May 23, 2025.

The alert indicates that increasing southwesterly winds are expected to intensify wave conditions, with wave heights gradually rising to reach up to 3.5 meters over the coming days. Conditions will shift from moderate to rough, prompting the CAA to advise caution for those engaging in maritime activities.

Authorities have urged fishermen, beachgoers, and small craft operators to stay informed of weather updates and avoid venturing into the sea during periods of high wave activity.
