Ajman Police Honors Taxi Driver for Heroic Act in Rescuing Elderly Man from Traffic Accident

Ajman : The Ajman Police General Headquarters has recognized taxi driver Shah Omar for his swift and selfless intervention that helped save the life of an elderly man who was nearly struck by a vehicle in the Mushairif area.

Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Mohammed Al Matroushi, Head of the Traffic Engineering Department, commended Omar’s quick response and humanitarian spirit, emphasizing that such commendable behavior exemplifies strong moral values and social responsibility. He added that actions like these not only help safeguard lives but also contribute to promoting a culture of road safety and community solidarity.

The recognition is part of Ajman Police’s broader initiative to foster community engagement and to acknowledge individuals whose efforts positively impact public safety.

In response, Shah Omar expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ajman Police for the honor, stating that his actions were driven by a sense of duty and compassion for fellow members of the community.
