Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) secretary Puneet Bali has revealed that Yuvraj Singh and the PCA are eagerly waiting for BCCI’s positive nod so that the swash-buckling all-rounder can make a comeback. Yuvraj Singh is planning to make a comeback by playing in domestic circuits, and the move is primarily aimed to elevate the morale of young talents in the state.

It was in June that Yuvraj retired from all forms of cricket. Unfortunately, the player did not get a farewell game and literally disappointed his millions of fans. However, last month, Bali approached Yuvraj Singh and requested him to come out of retirement.

Bali requested Yuvraj to mentor youngsters from Punjab, and the player readily accepted the offer.  “The confirmation hasn’t come. The PCA has accepted his comeback. But we are waiting for communication from the BCCI,” Bali said.

Yuvraj Singh was once the most prominent names in Indian cricket, and his contributions have played a crucial role in helping India to win the 2011 World Cup. In his glorious career that lasted for 17 years, Yuvraj played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs, and 58 T20 Internationals.
