An 11-year-old Indian girl residing in Dubai has entered the Golden Book of World Records for performing 40 advanced yoga postures in one minute inside a small box.
Samridhi Kalia, a Grade 7 student of Ambassador School in Dubai, had her yoga session live-streamed on June 21, 2020, the International Yoga Day.
Samridhi, who can do various yoga asanas in style, has won many prizes for artistic and rhythmic yoga. She bagged the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Award in January for her achievements in the field of yoga.
Samridhi had then created a record for doing about 33 postures in a span of one minute but not in a restricted area.
Samridhi who was inducted into yoga at the age of six, practises at least two hours every day, she told Khaleej Times.
