Kochi: Kerala Police informed that the sexual assault complaint lodged against director Balachandra Kumar was fake. The investigation team approached the High Court requesting to dismiss the case.
Balachandra Kumar had revealed certain crucial evidence in connection with the actress attack case of 2017, in which actor Dileep was a key accused. Following this, a woman filed a complaint against the director accusing him of sexually abusing her. The woman, who is a Kannur native claimed that Balachandra Kumar abused her after offering job, ten years ago.
The complainant alleged that Balachandra Kumar summoned her to a music composer’s house and raped her. In her statement, the woman informed that Balachandra Kumar had recorded the visuals of the abuse in a hidden camera and threatened her of circulating it. After receiving the complaint, police registered a case against Balachandra Kumar.
