When Vijay once impressed Katrina Kaif with his noble gesture

Katrina Kaif is now one of the biggest starlets in Bollywood, and she enjoys a huge fan following in all nooks of the globe. However, in the initial days of her career, she had apparently struggled a lot to mark her presence felt in the industry. It was during those days that Katrina came to Ooty to shoot an advertisement with Thalapathy Vijay.

In stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania-chat show, Katrina shared her memories working with Thalapathy Vijay in that advertisement. After the shooting, Katrina was apparently busy with some telephone calls. But Vijay waited for her until she became free to say a good bye.

It should be noted that Vijay was already a big star in Kollywood at that time, but Katrina was just a newcomer who was trying to make it big in the entertainment industry.

“We were sitting on the floor when we were shooting in Ooty. I was very, very cold. I was on the phone and I saw a pair of feet in front of me. I thought it must be someone standing and I didn’t bother to look up. So I was on the phone and after some time, I still saw those feet. Finally, I looked up and I saw that it’s the guy in the ad with us. He’s a south superstar, his name is Vijay,” said Katrina during the talk.

Katrina also said that Vijay is a very humble person who has a down to earth attitude. She made it clear that the actor did not want to disturb her, as she was busy with some telephone calls.

Katrina Kaif is currently awaiting the release of her new movie ‘Sooryavanshi’ directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is the fourth installment of Shetty’s Police Universe, and it stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. An official announcement regarding the release date of this movie will be made after the lifting of coronavirus lockdown measures.
