Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrate their third wedding anniversary, share throwback pictures

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrated their third wedding anniversary today and the Indian captain took to social media to mark the occasion by sharing a picture of the couple on Instagram.

He wished Anushka and said: “3 years and onto a lifetime together”.

The star pair got married on December 11,2017. Anushka Sharma also shared a throwback photo featuring both of them and said, “3 years of us and very soon, 3 of us Miss You.”

The couple will not be together on their special occasion, with Virat Kohli on tour of Australia with the Indian team. He will be reunited with his wife soon, after being given paternity leave, which will see him return home after the first test in Adelaide that begins on December 17.

Talking to Vogue, Anushka had said that during the initial few months of their marriage, they were barely able to see each other. She had said, “People assume when I’m visiting Virat or when he is visiting me that it’s a holiday, but it’s really not. One person is always working.” She said that sometimes, their trips to each other mean just ‘one meal together’.

“In fact, during the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 days together. Yes, I actually calculated. So when I visit him overseas, it’s to squeeze in that one meal together. It’s precious time for us,” she said.
