Happy news for UAE residents stranded in India

In what appears to be a rethink on the part of the Indian Civil Aviation Authorities, Air India and Air India Express operating evacuation flights to bring Indian Citizens from the UAE to India will be allowed to carry ICA approved UAE residents (returning to the UAE from India) on the outward journey from India to the UAE, according to an announcement by Air India in its Twitter handle.
This comes in pursuance of agreement between the Civil Aviation Authorities of India and the UAE.
All the flights will carry only those passengers who are destined for the UAE. It further said that the arrangement will be operational for a period of 15 days from July 12 to July 26, 2020.
