UAE weather forecast: Scorching temperatures soar to 46°C this weekend

Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast a fair and stable weather pattern across the UAE through the weekend, with temperatures expected to soar. On Thursday, Sweihan in Al Ain recorded the country’s highest temperature at a blistering 46.2°C at 1:45 pm, highlighting the intensifying heat as summer approaches.
Daytime highs over the weekend will range between 42°C and 46°C in internal regions, while coastal areas and islands can expect temperatures between 39°C and 44°C. Mountainous regions will see slightly cooler conditions, with highs between 32°C and 39°C.

Looking ahead to next week, clear to partly cloudy skies are expected on Monday, followed by a noticeable shift on Tuesday with dusty conditions and a drop in temperatures, particularly in western parts of the country.

Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening from the southeast to northeast at speeds ranging from 10 to 35 km/h. Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

The NCM also reported the latest on temperatures and weather conditions in cities across the UAE for the coming days, urging residents to stay cool and hydrated as the heat intensifies. With soaring temperatures expected, the center advises against prolonged exposure to the sun, especially during the hottest hours of the day. Beat the heat—your health comes first!
