UAE visit visa exemption for Indians holding these visas

Dubai: Indian nationals holding tourist visas to the European Union (EU), the United States (US), or the United Kingdom (UK) are now exempt from a pre-entry visa to enter the UAE.

This was announced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security on Thursday. The visa exemption has been expanded to include Indian nationals holding valid tourist visas for the EU, US, and UK. Earlier, it was limited to those Indians with residence permit to US, UK and European countries.

Additionally, visitors can also extend their stay in the UAE after paying the applicable fees, provided their visa to EU, US or UK remain valid with at least six months passport validity.

The fee for a 14-day entry visa for Indian nationals and their family members holding ordinary passports, along with a valid visa, residency, or green card from the US, EU, or UK, is Dh100. For those wishing to extend their stay for an additional 14 days, the fee is Dh250, while the cost for a 60-day visa is also Dh250.
