Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued a traffic advisory warning motorists of expected delays on First Al Khail Road, specifically in the stretch between Umm Suqeim Street and Latifa Bint Hamdan Street, due to ongoing maintenance work by Dubai Municipality.
In an official update shared via social media, RTA stated:
“Motorists are advised of potential traffic delays on First Al Khail Road due to road works being conducted by Dubai Municipality. To ensure smoother travel, commuters are encouraged to use alternative routes.”
Suggested Alternative Routes
To minimize disruptions and avoid congestion, drivers are recommended to consider the following alternate roads:
- Al Asayel Street
- Sheikh Zayed Road
These routes are expected to provide a more seamless driving experience during the maintenance period.
The RTA also shared a map of detours and affected areas via their official X (formerly Twitter) account to assist with navigation.
Motorists are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra travel time while work is in progress.
