UAE opens more COVID Rapid Testing Centers for those wishing to enter Abu Dhabi. The test, which uses laser-based technology, costs 50 dirhams.
The Abu Dhabi Health Department has set up testing centers in various emirates on the recommendation of the Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee.
In addition to the laser screening center at Gandoot in Abu Dhabi, Zayed Sports has opened testing centers at City and Corniche. In Dubai, the checkpoints are at Mina Rashid and Al Khawaneej.
Officials have shared the details and working hours of the test centers in various emirates through social media. After booking in advance, blood samples should be taken at the check-in centers. The results will be known in a few minutes. Those who get a negative result can enter Abu Dhabi within 48 hours. If the result is positive, the PCR test will take nasal secretions. People should stay in the quarantine until the results are known.
