Abu Dhabi/Ottawa: UAE Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand in Ottawa to discuss ways to deepen bilateral ties and explore future cooperation between the two countries.
The high-level talks focused on enhancing collaboration across key sectors, including economy, education, investment, trade, technology, and energy. Both leaders reviewed new opportunities to strengthen these partnerships and emphasized their mutual commitment to sustainable growth and development.
Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the UAE’s strong interest in advancing UAE–Canada relations and highlighted the country’s commitment to building long-term strategic partnerships.
In light of both countries’ growing roles in promoting international peace and security, the meeting also addressed recent regional and global developments. Both sides expressed the importance of diplomatic cooperation in addressing global challenges and maintaining stability.
